On the North side of Westheimer you also find a retail shop for wines, cheese, and gourmet accessories. It's a convenient spot to grab a host/hostess gift or something for yourself.
Light Bulbs Unlimited has been a long time asset to the neigborhood provided interior and exterior lighting, holiday and specialty lighting and even that hard-to-find lightbulb.

The former retail strip at Westheimer and Waugh is now home to a pop-up market, Montrose Market operated by Curb Coalition, featuring a music, farmers' markets and artisan offerings. Skanska has offered the space for community use prior to implementing its development plans.

North of WAMM on Westheimer Rd., from Shepard to Midtown, you'll find a trove of stores and helpful services such as Southland Hardware, service stations, and local retailers, including a bakery, cheese and wine shop, gift shops featuring crafts from local artists, such as Space and many more.
Within and adjacent to WAMM, at the corner of Westheimer and Montrose and at West Alabama and Montrose are conveniently located service stations. Just a couple blocks south of I-59 on Montrose is an auto repair shop.
